Privacy Policy
NextXI · Last updated 3 July 2026
NextXI (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a team-management app that helps amateur football teams organise availability, team sheets, payments and chat. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the app you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Account details. Your name, email address and (optionally) a profile photo. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from that provider so we can create your account.
Team activity. Information you create while using the app: your availability responses, roster/team-sheet positions, chat messages and any images you post, notices, Player of the Week and Joker of the Week votes and the comments you write, and your device's push notification subscription (if you enable notifications).
Payments. We record whether you have paid for a session. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe — we never see or store your card number or bank details.
How we use your data
- To run the app's features — availability, team sheets, payments, chat, notices and votes.
- To send you push notifications you have opted into (e.g. event reminders, chat alerts).
- To track and reconcile session payments for your team.
- To keep the app secure and working correctly.
Who can see your data
Other members of your team can see your name, profile photo, availability, chat messages, and your votes and comments — this is the shared, collaborative nature of the app. Team admins can additionally see and manage payment status and team membership.
We share data with the following service providers, only as needed to run the app:
- Supabase — database, authentication and file storage.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Google / Apple — only if you choose to sign in with them.
- Vercel — application hosting.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
Push notifications
If you enable notifications we store a subscription token for your device so we can deliver them. You can turn notifications off at any time from Settings in the app, or in your browser/device settings.
Data retention
Chat history is limited to the most recent messages and older messages are automatically deleted. We keep your account and team data for as long as you are a member of a team. If you leave a team or ask us to delete your data, we will remove your personal information, subject to any legal obligations.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to stop using it. To do so, contact us using the details below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the UK/EU GDPR.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and access is restricted using row-level security so that you and your teammates can only see your own team's data. No online service can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
The app is intended for players aged 13 and over. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
